Well here I go again on the subject of conversation.
Where are people talking to each other?, No not Tech message that are in a new language, but the down to earth conversing. People will not talk in an elevator or a hospital hall, or in a book store.
Let us explore.
I believe this new non-talking system originates in the Grade School Classroom, where no talking is allowed for 12 years, with only a few situations of debate.
Eye contact is avoided and encouraged in cases of "Road Rage". how can a person converse when you can not have eye contact.
All information to the ears is covered with earphones playing music.
The check-out stand is automated with a robot card reader that directs the actions of the customer.
Phones are answered automatically and record a message. The human listens to the robot and reply or deletes the message. Soon there will be a system to automatically answer the messages without human interface.
Personalities are completely lost in modern day operations, a sad note to daily happenings.
